Muchas veces resulta complicado encontrar un lugar céntrico,
apacible, donde te apetezca estar y donde, además, puedas tomar un buen café
acompañado de un suculento croissant. Para quien busque este perfil de local, hemos
encontrado una de sus paradas obligatorias en Barcelona: Je T’attends.
Je T’attends es un lugar sencillo pero con carácter, fruto
de esa simplicidad francesa en la que se inspira. Mesas de madera, objetos de
decoración en blanco… Un espacio donde, como su propio nombre indica, puedes
esperar durante horas. Sus propietarios pensaron en crear un rincón en pleno
Eixample donde sentirte como en casa y lo cierto es que lo han conseguido. El
día en el que hice las fotos nos pasamos, con dos amigas, más de 3 horas charlando sin cesar, no
sólo porque tuviéramos muchas cosas que contarnos, sino porque la comodidad de
sus sillones y la tranquilidad de su atmósfera así lo propiciaron.

Je T'attends is a homely establishment with French style decoration. Wooden tables, white furniture... A place where you can stay for hours. Its owners looked for a corner in l'Eixample where you could feel as at home and the truth is that they have achieve it. The day I took the photographs we stayed with two other friends for three hours chating, not only because we had issues to talk about, but also for their comfortables sofas and the calm enviroment.

Por lo que respecta a la oferta de local, destaca por encima de todo su amplia variedad de dulces con
los que acompañar un buen café con leche o un té. Si bien también hay una buena oferta de opciones saladas como mini bocadillos y demás. A mi personalmente, y aunque puede parecer una tontería, lo que más me gustó es que recupera la tradición de los botes con terroncitos de azúcar. El único pero que le pondría es el elevado precio de los pasteles -sobre unos 4€-, teniendo en cuenta además, que la porción es de lo más minimalista.

Personally, although it can seem stupid, what I like it most was the canisters of sugar cubes. The worst, perhaps the prices of their cakes -more or less 4€-, if we consider also, that the portions are not very big.

Tienes mucha razón. Muchas veces se hace difícil encontrar un lugar donde pasar horas charlando y estar cómoda. Me apunto en dato ;-)
