Previously, I had seen Giulietta Café, in Tetuan square number 4, when I was on my way to work. I paid attention to its decoration. However, I hadn't ventured in until the other day when I had tasted its dishes. Today, I will tell you about this place in En la Ciudad. Here, you can enjoy a good coffee or cake in a cozy atmosphere.
Giulietta Café is run by Albert and Francina, a married couple who are the pastry makers, and a few years ago, decided to have their own bakery. They menu is inexpensive and includes: cakes, coffees, juices, sandwiches and salads. It is set in a cozy French style establishment, with white tables and chairs and flowers centerpieces.
They offer slow food products and are careful with all their ingredients. Berguedà eggs, Cardedeu milk, oil from Tarragona... You can find all kind of cakes (carrot cake, red velvet, plumcake...) in their menu, and one of them the 'pastel del dia' (the dailly cake) has a special price with a coffee. You can also have their macarrons, croissants, crepes and their wonderful chocolate palstry that I recommend to you.
The cafe has their own room with blackboards and games for the children and also products for celiacs. In the future, they want to offer brunch during the weekends. We are looking foward to it!
